Holidays... please come to meeeee!!!!!

Well I can remember a lot of really nice nice niceeeee holidays when I was a child, I used to go to Copiapó 'cause my aunt used to live there. It is a very nice city, and is close to "Bahia Inglesa" wich is a great beach.
I've travelled a lot with my best friend family too. And the last years I've gone to Puyehue with my karate team... It was amazing!!! Sadly this year I won't be able to join them :C because of this funny summer semester :C

This year holidays doesn't look really good, 'cause I MUST study a lot... There are a few tests waiting for me on March :( But I'll try to go out with my friends that I haven't seen in a lot of time, sleep a loooot, read!!!, watch some series, go swimming and go TRAINING! maaan I haven't trained in a long long time!!!! I MUST do some exercise!! And of course study my brain out.... GOOD MARKS COME TO ME!!!!!

Hmmm let's dream a little...
I'd LOVE to spend some holidays traveling around the world. First around Chile... Then Europe, Africa, Australia... Climb some mountains, walk a lot, A LOT OF ADVENTURE AND CULTURE!!  It would be just amazing, although in this moment I only want to go home and sleep a little haha :(

Well this is the LAST post!!! (oooh :C) So I want to wish you all a really gooood holidays!!! Sleep and enjoy a lot!!!

Favourite website??

Well it's a little hard to think in my favourite website... Cause I spend the most of my time on facebook, but just because I'm really used to it... Not because I really "love" it.

I also like twitter, youtube and of course cuevana, but today I will talk about this site that I found not a log time ago it is called "Tumblr" in which you can create something like a blog... well it's actually a blog, where you can post written stuff, pictures, music and whatever you want, the really interesting thing is that you can reblog and have direct touch with other users (like Facebook)... I do have an account, but I don't really use it (yet) haha. I really enjoy reading and watching all the random stuff that I find there. Probably, when this "holy" semester ends, I will be able to use my account and post my own stuff.

I Think that Tumblr is like "The house of random" maybe that's why I really like this site, you can find anything you want, music articles, interesting toughts, funny pictures and great music. At the beggining is kind of confusing to move into the site, but it will get easier with a little practise.

Why do I want to be a vet??

Hello and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Today I'm gonna tell you why I'm in this career...

Ok, let's begin.
It's funny, but I've wanted to study veterinary medicine since I was like .. 1 year old haha.... I remember my self  as a little little girl telling to my mom: "Hey I want to be a doctor of animals!", and she said to me, "They are called Veterinarians". That's when all began I think...

Of course I wanted to study a lot of things too... like astronomy (I've always been a geek), arts, music, gastronomy, I wanted to be a supermarket cashier, hair stylist and "tía del furgón" .

Well, while I was growing up that list was getting shorter, and when I was like... 15, I was pretty sure that my career would be on science or music... Finally., I decided for science... It wasn't easy to leave music in a second place, but I thought, "It's always gonna be there for me, and I always will be able to do things related on music" 

So... there were to careers that I was really interested for, Veterinary Medicine and Kinesiology (because I was really into sports and I seemed a really good option for me).

A lot of people used to ask me "Why not human medicine??". Well I have 2 answers to that:
1. I think that animals and nature are amazing and unknown things, I mean, there's so much to study and investigate, it's intrigant and beautiful, and animals are so noble and majestic.
2. The human body really scares me!!! It's like if I see someone with an ugly and bloody wound, I think "Oh my godddd!!! that could be my own finger" (for example).

Well thats why I decided for Veterinarian Medicine, I figured out that kinesiology didn't give me those "butterflies in the stomach " (haha).

Until now my experience in university have been kind of weird... I think I've been missing little things of old friends and things like that, but it's getting better, the subjects are getting more interesting, and now I feel really fine about this career :)

I am not very sure of what job I want to have, but It'd be amazing to find something that includes treating animals and investigation.

Music... music... music ♫♪

Ok. Today I'm gonna talk write about QUEEN!!!
It is so hard to me to choose a favourite band, singer or style of music... but I think that Queen is an exellent choice to speak about today.

Queen is a British rock band formed in 1971 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar), Jonh Deacon (bass) and Roger Taylor (drums).

I really got into Queen because my Mom really loves 'em! So I've been listenning to 'em since I was really small. I LOVE their style, it is so unusual, so full of different kinds of music, strong, powerfull drums mixed with soft pianos and vocals... it's just amazing.

Queen is formed by amazing musicians, I think that Roger Taylor is one of the best drummers ever but I MUST do an special mention to..

The BIG Freddie Mercury...

(09.05.1946 – 11.24.1991)

This man is in my opinion... a Genius.
He was the lead singer of Queen. His energy and talent are just... inspiring. He was an extraordinary piano player... and his vocal range was just unbelievable.

I love watching Queen concerts on DVD, so I'm gonna leave you with an amazing song called "Hammer to fall"

Today we're traveling to...

AUSTRALIA!!!

I've always wanted to travel all around the world (who doesn't), but one of the countries that have always called my attention is definitely Asutralia.
Why? Well... Let me think a little about it...

The scene! Full of green!! The sea! with all its coral reef. It's a land full of colour.

I don't know much about the culture of the country, but I'm sure I've listened very interesting things about very old tribes that have lived there for centuries!

If one day I'm lucky enough to go to Australia, I'm definitely gonna dive in that beatufiful sea! (maybe I could find Nemo!). Off course I'd like to learn more about the culture too, so I'd probably go to a lot of museums, and walk walk walk all around the city!!

One friend that went to Australia a long time ago, told me about a giant acuarium! You get into it, and you can see how the turtles and fishes are swiming over you head! I'm definitely going there!

I also would like to go to the places that are not a tourist thing, hidden deserts and beaches (SSSSUUURRFF)[Oh! I just remembered one movie called "the drifter" if you have one free our of your life... you should watch it!].

Australia it's a HUGE country so I should  have a LOT of time to do everything that I want. I'd love to study there for a while (It must be a great place to study veterinary medicine). But I wouldn't like to live there... I really love my country :)

My favourite animal is...

The white tiger!!!

I've always loved this animal!! Not only because it's so beautiful, it is so mystical, so strong... It makes me remember about one of my favourites movies "The last samurai", where the White Tiger was the icon of the samurais. The tiger it's also a Karate symbol...

This beautiful animal gives me the impression of respect, of meditation and precision.

About it's color.. I've just read that it's a mutation of one recessive gen of the bengal tiger, so they are not a real albino, cause they still have stripes (cool hu?).

I've only seen this animal in the zoo (so sad)..but I would LOVE to see one on it's own habitat (some day.. Dany .. some day).

Well I don't have much more to say... now you already know what my favourite animal is! So if you want to give me one stuffed tiger as a present I'd be completely happy!

Hello I am...

Daniela Valenzuela Silva (I don't like my full name 'cause my mom tells me in that way when she's angry). I was born on June 25th, 1991. So I'm 20.
I spent all my early years studying at Colegio Inmaculada Concepción.... and my older years too... (pretty boring). BTW the school is located in San Bernado (where currently I live).
Now I'm trying to study Veterinary Medicine in the Universidad de Chile... I always wanted to become a veterinarian... Because I LOVE science, biology, medicine, and all that stuff, and I'm really interested on animals, I think they are wonderful.
I live with my mom, her dog and my cat. I'm an only child so I'm very close to my friends, I don't have a lot, but  they rock!
I have a really good relationship with my dad, we spend really good times tegether.
I used to practice karate (now go training it's a little difficult because of the college schedule), I really love it,  I practiced it for 9 years.
My other big passion is music, I'm listening to it about the 90% of my time, I love to play it too, but I don't actually PLAY a lot of instruments... I play a little of many ones! (really little).
Doctor House Addict, and Mafalda lover.
I suffer psychotic procatination too (so sad).
I love sports but I hate futbol.
I'm happy almost all the time.

And now I'm having a lack of ideas so I'll say goodbye (:.
